I’ve grown up.
I’ve spent the greater part of the entire past weekend migrating and editing content from my old TypePad blog to my new home here with WordPress.
I spent a great deal of time organizing old posts and categorizing them in a way that I hope will help you access content more easily. It was a labor of love, really.
With a full schedule of conferences and opportunities around the corner I decided it was time to get more serious about my blogging, hence the new look.
I’ve categorized everything in a few simple buckets… all are fairly self-explanatory.
- Church Communications – includes everything communications related and is broken down by resources (books, notes, etc), examples, principles and specific entries that deal with social media and the web.
- Just for Fun – is just for fun. It’s videos, quotes and other fun stuff.
- Notes – is my treasure of conference notes from Innovate, MinistryCOM, Catalyst and the most popular, Rob Bell’s the gods aren’t angry tour.
- Personal – isn’t too personal, but includes entries about me, life in Chicago, Park, and things that have inspired me.
- Reviews – aren’t technically reviews, but it is entries about music, books and movies.
I’m going to keep my TypePad site up for a bit while I make sure everything is linked properly… and figuring out my feed. In the meantime, here is my new RSS feed.
Also, something new… advertising. I’m going to give this a shot. If you’re interested in advertising on here, click here for more info. Chicago is the highest taxed city in the country, so a little spare change can help a brother out.
So, there you have it… welcome to TimSchraeder.com!
