Skateboard Tetris

When I was out in California last month I hung out with a friend of mine… he’s actually my brother-in-law’s brother who is an aspiring filmmaker and producer who recently graduated from NYU.

He flew down to San Diego from San Francisco having just wrapped up a film shoot for a commercial he had been working on for a skateboarding company.

He was so excited about it and showed me some of the initial footage… skateboarders coasting down a steep street in San Francisco with Tetris-shaped pieces strapped to themselves. Crazy. I have no idea how they pulled it off.

The end result was this…

How freaking cool is that?!

I love how out-of-the-box this is… a creative throw-back to a childhood classic.
