Thank you for the recap. It was a profound film – I saw it while on a business trip in VA. Thanks for the one-liner recap also! I thought about getting my phone and capturing/tweeting, but knew I would miss too much and not take in the whole thing.

Question: Was the song at the point where the film where Jesus being the hope "Oh You Bring"? I can't remember!

Wow, this is an awesome post about the film. I stumbled across it actually, trying to find a quote that I really liked from the film – the one about the human race. And, God did in fact wreck pretty much everyone who saw the film last night. This post definitely captures the premise of the film..thanks for posting!

Great post Tim. Wish we could all come to the realization that it's not about US! Seems like we are always trying to top ourselves so that others will find us impressive or relevant, when we need to stop and remember why we are doing what we are doing and to whom the credit should go. I loved the teaser video with the side-by-side shots of how we live vs. how others live. You always see videos from one perspective or the other, but I had never seen them put side-by-side like that. It makes the disparity that much greater. Let's pray that God would humble our churches and humble our hearts to see the reality of what we are facing.

I hope it comes out on DVD. For all my looking forward to it, I wasn't able to go. But by coincidence, on my iPod, was a podcast from The Orchard with guest preacher Dave Gibbons. Truly amazing stuff and in the same vein as what you got from the iHeart film.

Gosh, I do hope it gets a) shown again, b) released — surely this is too big to screen just once in the middle of the week?

Yeah, it was a powerful movie! Just got back from watching it over here on the west coast. Thanks for sharing so much from it … we're all in this together. Let's do this!

Wrecked as well. Thanks for taking notes…it's spinning in my head and I wanted to see some of it written down. I hope they release this to DVD soon. My church is actually doing a series right now that is exactly what thils film is all about and would have loved for them to all see this. God is moving mightily I believe in the world to raise up people who will BE the church. So very exciting.

Powerful! Thanks for the great summation and recap! I was going to go, but hesitated when buying my tickets online and missed out. I'm hoping that there will be an encore.

I'd seen the preview online and knew that they message of this film was going to be quite powerful! The Amos quote (from the Message) was the perfect way to open this up. Again, thanks for sharing your insights – I'm going to share these with a few friends who talked about going as well.
