Summer Hours

Every summer our church office goes on summer hours. We work Monday-Thurdsay from 8 AM [even though I don't start functioning properly until 10 AM] to 5 PM and on Fridays we work from 8 AM to Noon. Not a bad deal.

Like most churches, summertime is a quiet time around our office. Chicagoans live for June, July and August… the only three reasons to stay here in my opinion…  so our attendance and activities during the summer seem to take a bit of a dip. With the slower pace, our staff spends the summer focused on projects for the fall and setting our budget for the next year [our financial year runs September-August].

So, with Friday afternoons free, I’d like to take advantage of the opportunity and spend time talking with you!

Starting this Friday [and most Fridays throughout the rest of the summer], I’ll take calls from 12 PM-2 PM CST and talk with anyone who wants to chat about anything related to church communications.

  • I can share about what we are doing here at Park.
  • We can talk about projects you are working on.
  • I can answer questions or be a sounding board for an idea you have.
  • You can tell me about things you are learning.
  • You get the idea…

I’ll take as many calls as I can during the 2-hour period. If you’re interested in chatting, please let me know by filling out this little form.

Look forward to sharing and learning with you!
