Monday Morning Mind Dump Returns!

So it’s been awhile since I’ve done a Monday Morning Mind Dump. Thanks to my friend Chuck for reminding me. Here’s some random thoughts on my mind today…

  • I had the chance to visit 37signals’ new office space last week. One word: UNBELIEVABLE. Seriously one of the most creative/inspiring office settings I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait until they post more pictures so you can see it!
  • Heading to Dallas tomorrow to the ECHO Church Media Conference. Who doesn’t love going to Dallas at the end of July? (That was sarcastic.) I’m so excited, though, it will be like a family reunion. Will you be there? Let’s connect. And don’t worry if you can’t make it, I’ll be blogging and tweeting. It’s not too late to register if you’re still kicking the tires. Register using discount code (tim) and save 20%!
  • [Shameless plug] I’ll be doing a workshop on Thursday at ECHO, Reworking Church Communications. I’ll also be supporting Drew Goodmanson in his session on Church Web Stories. Come hang out!
  • My wanderings through Chicago are resumed… I’m moving to Lakeview sometime next week! Looking forward to being near the lake (it’s our equivalent of the ocean), public transportation and having my own office space!
  • The Willow Creek Global Leadership Summit is about a week away. I hope you’re able to tune in at a satellite location. I’ll be at Willow serving as the official blogger for the event… so excited to dive in and hear from TOMS Shoe’s founder Blake, Christine Caine, Andy Stanley, and more!
  • In other church conference news, Story is filling up FAST! Don’t miss out on your chance to hang at Park and hear from an amazing lineup of speakers in a one-of-a-kind event!
  • Josh Burns, the newest face to Park’s creative team, is blogging. Check it out!
  • Totally blown away by the buzz surrounding OUTSPOKEN: Conversations on Church Communications.  I’m thrilled to play a role in making it happen. Follow @OUTSPOKENbook or “Like” it on Facebook for updates!
  • Park was featured in an article by Christianity Today this month… check it out!
  • You heard it here first… I’ll be launching a communications coaching huddle starting this fall. It will be individually focused and designed for people starting out in church communications. Watch for details next week!
