Monday Morning Mind Dump

  • I can’t believe it’s AUGUST. Where did summer go?
  • Had a blast last week serving on the social media team for the Willow Creek Association Global Leadership Summit. Huge thanks to Hanna and the WCA for the opportunity to serve.
  • Descending from the Summit. Leadership Summit was incredible. A full recap is available here. I’ll do a separate post later this week of some of the key ideas that impacted me personally.
  • Wonder why I blog my notes? Here’s the reason why.
  • STORY is officially sold out and is going to be amazing. We are thrilled to host it at Park and are excited for what is in store.
  • Just picked up two books I’m stoked to read and review: Open Leadership by Charlene Li (author of groundswell) and Here Comes Everybody by Clay Shirky. What are you reading these days? Any suggestions?
  • Park’s single’s ministry is hosting an event with the CEOs of Caribou Coffee, Project 7 and charity:water later this month. I’m beyond excited for this and will post details soon.
  • Genius playlists are genius.
  • I’ve got a couple of ad spaces available. I’ve had over 150,000 visits in the past three months. Not shabby. If you’re interested in advertising drop me a line or visit this page for details.
  • Ponder this… “Somewhere we know that without silence words lose their meaning, that without listening speaking no longer heals, that without distance closeness cannot cure.” – Henri J.M. Nouwen
