Professional Sounding Bio…
Tim Schraeder is obsessed with all things social media. Having worked with some of the world’s largest churches and para-church organizations, he served as an evangelist for social media with a knack for connecting people and spreading ideas that matter. He’s been a consultant and coach as well as a sought-after speaker and author who helped write the book on communication and social media for the church.
Today, Tim is passionate to help businesses and organizations connect, engage, and build loyal followers across all forms of social media. He is a die-hard Chicagoan who can be found in any neighborhood coffeeshop that has free wifi.
In my own words…
Ever since my family got a computer and signed up for America Online [yeah, back in the day!], I’ve been fascinated with the way technology can connect people. I’ve been an early adopter for all things social media and love to see how it can build community, connect individuals to things they are passionate about, and create good. I love to write, speak, and share my ideas on social media, with a large portion of my work experience over the last decade being in the church and non-profit world. At the end of the day, I believe that the better connected we are, the more we are able to make a difference, and I love to help businesses and organizations do just that.

- Traveling… mainly for the people-watching in airports.
- Spending time with my family and being the best uncle in the world to my nieces and nephews.
