Hello there…If you’re new to my blog, welcome!

I write about many things on here but my primary focus is on church communication: how the church is expressing its message across multiple mediums including the web, print, and social media.

I also write about things related to church life and leadership as well as blogging my notes from key church conferences throughout the year.

I care passionately about the local church even though, at times,  I’ve had a love/hate relationship with it. I believe, despite its imperfections, it is the hope of the world… and I hope rather than criticizing it, I can contribute and help make it better.

What to Expect

Beginning in 2012, I’m aspiring to be a daily blogger. Here’s what you can expect…

  • Mondays - The Monday Mind Dump… an assortment of random thoughts, Likes, favorite videos, and the latest and greatest in the world of church communication.
  • Tuesdays - Thoughts on Tuesdays… a new thought or idea related to church communications or church leadership.
  • Wednesdays - Wednesday for Winners! … I’ll review a book, give you news about upcoming events and conferences, or new resources and give you the chance to win them!
  • Thursdays – Outside Thoughts on Thursday… each Thursday I’ll feature a guest post, an interview, or link to other great content on the web.
  • Fridays – Fun Day! … On Fridays we’ll mix it up with something random and fun!
  • In addition to daily posts, I will also blog notes from conferences I’m attending throughout the year.
