Here is a list of some of the blogs related to church communication I check out regularly. And, where appropriate, I’ve listed Twitter accounts for the blog authors. These are some of the key blogs and Twitter feeds I learn from and I know you will, too!

  • ChurchMarketingSucks.com / @CMSucks - the world’s largest faith-based marketing blog, sharing thoughts and insights on church communication.
  • EchoHub.com @ECHOhub - from the creators of the ECHO Church Media Conference comes the ECHO Hub, a great resource for church artists, geeks, and storytellers.
  • ChurchJuice.com / @ChurchJuice - get your creative juices flowing with ideas and thoughts from Chuch Juice, a website devoted to helping energize church communications.
  • KemMeyer.com / @KemMeyer - if you look up church communications on Google [since we don't use dictionaries anymore], chances are you’ll find Kem Meyer. She’s knows what’s up.
  • BenArment.com / @BenArment - one of the most creative people I know, Ben lives out his dreams and encourages others to do the same.
  • JustinWise.net @JustinWise - Justin is a friend, fellow co-director at the Center for Church Communication, and the man who gets social media and what it means for the church. He’s Wise. Literally.
  • BlaineHogan.com @BlaineHogan - creative director for one of the country’s largest churches, Blaine literally wrote the book on the creative process for churches.
  • GaryMo.com @GaryMo - Gary is a pastor to church creatives and artists. He gets us and shares things we need to hear.
  • Stephen Brewster @Brewster - Stephen understands creativity and what it means for the church. He consistently inspires me to get better at what I do.
  • Hillsong Collected [Creative] - one of the churches that I’m most inspired by is Hillsong Church, based out of Syndey, Australia. Check out their Creative Team’s blog and learn from the heart of some of the best.
  • Goins, Writer / @JeffGoins - Jeff consistently reminds me what a terrible writer I am, but encourages me to get better. If you write books, blogs, or update social media, you must read this blog.
  • Catalyst Blog @CatalystLeader - Catalyst is a filter for what’s next in leadership. They curate excellent content and resources for next generation leaders.
  • Seth Godin - Seth’s ideas and writing have greatly influenced me and my journey in church communication and leadership. Just about everyone I know reads his blog. If you don’t, you should.
  • The 99percent / @the99percent - from the folks over at BEHANCE, comes this great blog focused on helping creatives put ideas into action. Consistently delivers helpful content.
  • Fast Company Design / @fastcodesign - from the creators of Fast Company, this blog explores where design and business collide. Sooo inspirational.
  • MediaSalt.com / @MediaSalt - add some flavor to your day… MediaSalt provides great resources for church media and communication leaders.
  • Jonathan Malm / @Jonathan Malm – Jonathan is someone I’m learning from right now. On his blog he explores the creative process and provides resources for church creatives wanting to make their ministry better.
  • JasonYarborough.com /@yarby - my friend Jason has social media on his mind and shares his thoughts on social media for the church.
  • LogoDesignLove.com / @LogoDesignLove - true to the name, this blog serves up some love for some great logo design.
